About the Role
As a manager in the Datacom business, your role will encompass responsibility for the performance, productivity, development and sustainability of your team. You will be accountable for providing leadership and guidance to a team of skilled professionals, and providing services and solutions in a newly shaped internal Cyber security team.
This role is to lead the Datacom business in best practice information security policies, standards and operations.
You will work in close collaboration with a supportive leadership team to lead a fresh, newly formed group of IT Security Managers focusing across Operational Security, Policy and Group Risk.
What You’ll Do
- Be seen as a leader in the business through the promotion of innovation, service and delivery enhancement and with a focus on future sustainability
- Contribute to enhancing our delivery model and service offerings
- Be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the role augmentation services to deliver the right skillsets and capabilities for delivery of the following roles: Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Information Security Manager (ISM) IT Security Manager (ITSM)
- Delivery of CISO, ISM and ITSM cybersecurity services to best practise, in alignment to the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA) definitions of these roles and in NZ Govt to the NZISM
- Foster vendor relationships that support the Cybersecurity technical services that are delivered from the CAP and SOC teams
- Promote innovation and sustainability as part of our core business model and build a reputation internally of quality and value
What You’ll Bring
- Extensive experience across all aspects of IT Security Management
- Experience in leading and developing a team of professionals
- Experience in professional services organisations
- Significant experience in the security industry, in particular the provision of consulting and professional services
- Experience in an organisation driven by service, delivery and outcomes
- Disciplined approach to governance
- Sound financial management experience
