The Role
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our Virtualisation team based in Auckland. This role providies support services across Citrix, VMware, HyperV environments. Some project based activities will also be required as capability and capacity allows.
You will:
- Be the escalation point for Client related Technical queries, incidents, or problems
- Ensure consistency in delivery of service, as defined within Service Level Agreements
- Set and maintain operational standards for nominated technologies
- Identify opportunities for technology innovation within or across Clients
- Provide ongoing mentorship to team members.

You’ve the ability and willingness to operate independently while providing proactive insight to the wider team. This is a customer facing role, so you’re confident talking people of all levels, both internally and externally as your provide technical guidance. You’re a continuous improver; you look at ways to do things better and are committed to your own training, up-skilling and professional development.
Key Technical Experience/Skills
- Core Technical Skills:
- Microsoft server operating system and core productivity applications.
- Virtualisation technologies.
- Azure and Microsoft 365
- Enterprise Antivirus products i.e Symantec, Fortinet
- Systems monitoring tools
- Hardware and Storage
- PowerShell scripting
