This position plays a critical role in supporting customers seeking to expand in the AusPac region and the role is integral in connecting the international and New Zealand based teams to ensure we meet our goals.He aha?tau?e mahi ana |?What you’ll be doing:?Working with key stakeholders across AusPac and the NZTE New Zealand team, the Market Manager AusPac contributes to the development of the regional plan by linking market opportunities to customer capability and by providing expert advice. The role will help to add value to new and existing customer businesses who are targeting Australia for expansion assisting them to make good early decisions about their business set-up. You’ll have a good knowledge of business in Australia across different sectors and be able to work with senior stakeholders to guide their strategic choices.You will be an integral part of theAusPac Teamand you will be a key conduitbetween Australia-based advisors and NZTE Customer Managers based in NZ. You’ll work with a wide range of internal teams to educate and inform customers whether in a one-on-one capacity or running 1-to-many activities to build capability and knowledge.Ko?nga?mea?ka?hiahiatia?e?koe?kia?angitu?te?haere?|?What you’ll need to be successful:
You’ll be a deep listener, who takes time to really understandcompanies andtheir goals.Yourability to stand back, work with the teamto look at the bigpicture,offeringexpert advice that maximises the success of exporters will hold you in good stead.Strong stakeholder relationship management skills are critical to the success of this role as the stakeholders are wide ranging. Internally, you will work with Regional Directors, Trade Commissioners, Business Development Managers and Customer Managers and you will work with a range of external partner organisations. You will need to develop a deep understanding of how we work with customers. You will have a strong commercial and international background where you will have developed your relationship management skills, political savvy, and senior level stakeholder management and experience. Technically savvy you will be adept at the Mircosoft office suite and have a good understanding of a range of business software.
