About the Role

We look after small business clients end-to-end and our engineers have exposure to a wide variety of work with opportunity to develop skills in a number of areas. We interface with the wider Datacom to utilise any special skillset our SMB customers require. We also participate in project work for Datacom’s wider customer pool where infrastructure install, removal or relocation is required, especially in Data centres.

What you’ll bring

This role would suit a self-managed, customer focused professional who enjoys working as part of a passionate, friendly team. You've a solid understanding of Microsoft technologies and you're keen to learn and see where modern technology advances will take us.

Your technical skills include (but are not limited to):

Microsoft SharePoint (configuration/administration/migration)

Microsoft Azure (configuration/administration/migration)

Microsoft Office 365 (configuration/administration/migration)

Desktop and Server administration

What you’ll do

Ensure the consistent delivery of service

Maintain documented architectural standards for nominated customers

Escalation point for customer related queries, incidents or problems

Identifying process improvement opportunities within nominated customers

Be comfortable with using initiative to find solutions and seek ways of improving processes

Maintain at all times the confidentiality and privacy of clients and individuals as required by the Privacy Act

Flexibility is a key component of this role. From time to time, formal project engagement may arise as a course of our business and therefore, you may be expected to accommodate this and work as and where directed

Be available to be part of an on-call register for week/weekend work
