We are looking for a Product Excellence Engineering Manager to join our Centre of Excellence at our Avondale site in Auckland New Zealand.
Reporting through to our Head of Product Excellence in Sydney, Australia, this position is responsible for the development, testing and evaluation stages of the concept to commercialization process. You will also contribute to ongoing projects to ensure their efficient delivery. In addition, the role will focus on maintaining the technical specifications and the ongoing design and performance of products during production.
It will be an exciting role where you can build on your current experience and work alongside experts in the field to create state of the art technologies for the New Zealand and Global marketplace.
There is so much more we could tell you, but as an experienced Engineering Manager you already know what is required in this type of role! So, if you are interested in helping us bring to life our purpose of making life better with superior solutions for water, it would be great if you also possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 - 7 years’ product design experience, working from concept creation through to production of high-quality mass-produced consumer and commercial products covering mechanical or electronic products.
- Experience with Engineering design for manufacture
- Broad understanding and working knowledge of disciplined product development processes, design, regulatory and quality requirements for manufacture
- Proactive management of product development projects
- Experience with analysing testing results and creating report
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding and application of local standards
