Influencing and engaging a range of stakeholders, you’lldrive sales and performance acrosstheCategory.With a true strategicmind-set,you’lltake on a senior role in the team, determiningand achieving strategicgoalsthrougheffective category planningand forecasting, contributing towards managing supplier relationships, pricing, promotional activities, range management and productmaintenance.About youWith acommercialmind-set you’ll have an in-depth understanding of Category/Account Management in FMCG or retail, ideally in Fresh. Not afraid to get into the detail you’ll work collaboratively andeffectivelyto plan, organise and operate the category ensuring we’re reaching hitting financial targets, unlocking growth and using customer insights.Keys to yoursuccess in the role will also include;· Strongunderstanding and/or arealpassion for FreshProduce· Ananalyticalway of thinking withand an affinity for the numbers· Methodical approach to managing the administration of a large categoryBecause of the nature of the product, Nationwide travel is required as is the requirement to work one weekend in three.
