We are Thematic, a fully remote fast growing SaaS company with staff in New Zealand and the US. Thematic uses AI to analyze customer feedback to tell companies how they can increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. Our customers are brands you know including LinkedIn, DoorDash, Jetstar and Vodafone.
We are looking for talented and passionate developers to help build Thematic across our tech stack. While this description is focused on the frontend, we believe in finding people that fit anywhere along the visual design-gt;frontend-gt;backend-gt;infrastructure spectrum that will help build out our team and make us stronger.
What you might be responsible for:
- Implementing and maintaining Thematic's product
- Ensuring automated testing and CI/CD is helping us ship safely and efficiently
- Validating and iterating on projects, making sure they are delivering what our users and customers will be delighted by
- Collaborating closely with fellow team members to achieve team amp; company goals
- Helping to decide on both the technical and product roadmaps and helping us balance the two
- Working with others across Thematic (marketing amp; customer success) to help them deliver value to customers in new and exciting ways
- Helping other engineers on the team
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Passionate about building products people get value from
- 2 or more years of experience in at least one of the core technologies we use:
- Frontend (React, Vue, D3, SCSS, automation testing)
- Experience working in a remote environment with a distributed team (or wanting this to be your lifestyle)
- Based either in New Zealand, or between New Zealand and PST
- Enjoy continuously learning and growing
What you might have:
- Experience building SaaS products
- Experience in some of the backend technologies we use:
- Backend (Python, Flask, API development, Clickhouse)
- AWS Infrastructure (ECS, Batch, monitoring, compliance)
- Working in a small company
- Appreciation for visual design and making things the customer wants
