Theta is a successful, New Zealand owned, technology consulting company with offices in Auckland, Wellington, Tauranga, and Christchurch. We cover everything from Data and Insights to Digital to Cyber Security, Continuous Computing, ERP / CRM through to Project Management.

Our company is experiencing tremendous growth and it doesn’t look like it is going to stop any time soon. We are looking for an energetic and efficient junior / intermediate level Recruitment / HR Coordinator who is happy to help out where required. This is an exciting role which will develop your skills across different areas and can be either a full time or flexible part-time position.

This is a fast paced role and you’ll be supporting the HR Recruitment Lead in our Auckland team with end to end recruitment of hard-to-find technical and IT professionals. You will also be assisting with HR activities such as onboarding new staff, inductions, immigration matters as well as other HR administration and ad-hoc projects.

The skills we are looking for are:

  • Minimum 2 years end to end recruitment experience within an IT/technical environment
  • Ability to build relationships with others (colleagues, customers and candidates)
  • Comfortable talking technical on the phone and in person to candidates and stakeholders at all levels
  • Competent using ATS systems and the MS Office suite
  • Knowledge of NZ employment legislation
  • 1 2 Years experience dealing with ER matters and providing assistance and advice across the business (HR related degree would be highly advantageous)
  • Exception verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter
  • Ambitious, with the desire to progress your career in technical internal recruitment
