About the Role

The Developer role is responsible for the core coded business logic for the developed application or platform. They should be intimately familiar with the languages and design patterns used in the application and strive to deliver code that is well structured and maintainable.

It is their job to understand the business requirements for a feature or component of the application or platform and deliver the code to fulfil those requirements. The developer will be responsible for working with the relevant domain team members to ensure that all solutions are developed/coded and configured (including reporting) to ensure that the solution achieves the intended business requirements.We are looking for Android developers and Android Tech Lead

What?you’ll?bring

  • Extensive experience with developing mobile applications within agile teams
  • Proven product development skills using Java, Android libraries, XML, etc.
  • Ideally, have built mobile apps developed in Android native for past 3+ years
  • Strong understanding on Mobile best practice and mobile design patterns
  • Proficiency MVVM, MVP
  • Experience with APIs, Swagger, etc.
  • Good business experience and understanding across several industries helping reshape parts of business to achieve agreed outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on helping create cohesive, collaborative and productive virtual teams
  • Good conceptual and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn and pick up new technologies
  • Experience in CI/CD practices and tooling. Familiar with Apple App Store Connect, Test Flight, MS App Center and Google Play Store Console
  • 5+ years experience
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • able to understand product requirements and do feasibility checks
  • Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Collaborate with UI/UX, Product Owners and Architects to get the best out of available technology
  • good communication skills with client stakeholder and internal team members

Responsibilities

  • Develop code in a clear, maintainable way with a focus on ease of use amp; performance.
  • Be familiar with development frameworks and platform capabilities and use established, common design patterns. Develop for re-use wherever possible
  • Work with Product Manager, BA, Dev Lead, and domain team to design and deliver customer outcomes
  • Understand the business domain at a high level, and understand the feature amp; functions you are working on at a detailed level
  • Work with QA to design and run key functional tests as part of development activity
  • Work with the Business Analyst to resolve gaps or ambiguities in the functional design
  • You'll be leading technical teams from the front
  • You'll assist these teams in the art of crafting new code, as well as maintaining and enhancing existing systems
  • You'll upskill your team in areas you've identified as needing improvement
  • You'll provide support with diagnosing and correcting complex production issues
  • Your guidance on the direction of system testing and validation procedures will steer the team
  • You'll assist in identifying technology limitations in current code, applications and systems and then offer alternate solutions
  • You'll work on different projects and apply best practice/best design patterns
  • You'll work with team to deliver project's features or deliver project end to end
