We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join our team based at our Avondale site in Auckland.

Reporting through to the Group CFO, who is based in Sydney, in this role you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality and timely management reporting and planning for the New Zealand market. As a member of the New Zealand Leadership team your role will also be to partnering with them and the Group CEO regarding sales, marketing and other business functions.

This is a great opportunity for a commercially savvy Finance Manager to not only bring to life your technical skills, but more importantly your leadership capability to lead a team of four experienced finance professionals and be a true business partner to the NZ Leadership Team.

You will have the normal requirements of a Finance Manager, like a Bachelor’s degree and CA qualifications, and if you can tick the box on the details below, then we want to hear from you!

  • 10+ years’ experience in a management accounting role, ideally from within a manufacturing or retail company
  • Have strong technical accounting skills and be adept in areas such as financial analysis, setting budgets and forecasting, and producing full monthly management accounts
  • Around 5 years’ experience leading a team of people
  • Experience in successfully leading people through change
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to drive data analysis to provide meaningful insights, whilst at the same time solving complex problems
  • Proven ability of achieving results within tight deadlines
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understand the benefits of teamwork, and enjoy leading a team and being part of a high performing leadership team
