New Zealand Trade amp; Enterprise is a New Zealand government agency with a core purpose:growing companies internationally - bigger, better and faster or the good of New Zealand.
We are based in 54offices across New Zealand and around the world. We also have over 200 private-sector partners, as well as a global network including thousands of business connections, influencers, and friends of New Zealand.
This global presence lets us deliver unique value to businesses through ourcollective insight, wisdom, and experience, built over 50 years of helping companies grow internationally. We understand the dynamics of our international markets and build influential networks within them. We use this to help our customers establish themselves in markets and togrow their businesses.
The international team make up about 40% of ourpeopleand are spread around the world in 41 offices, across seven international regions. We work in close partnership with other government agencies focusing on the economy and international growth.

As a key member of the Leadership Team you will be a strong contributor to the strategy, direction, continued development of our people and culture and overall leadership of the whole organisation.
As a strong dynamic leader, you will guide, coach, and inspire your teams to be high performing for NZTE and themselves. You will be focused on ensuring your international team is safe and well and aligned and connected with NZTE’s purpose. Our customers are at the heart of what we do, therefore your leadership will be highly focused on supporting and leading your international team to deliver a world class customer experience to grow companies internationally.
We are looking for someone to build and leverage relationships across NZ Inc partners to identify opportunities to enhance NZ’s exporting success.
