Job Description

We’re a fast growing FinTech founded in NZ in 2017. Laybuy is a global buy now, pay later provider committed to responsible lending and offering customer-led products and services. Our team doubled in size last year and we have some ambitious plans for 2021 amp; beyond. We’re looking for a collaborative and commercially minded experienced HR professional with a passion for recruitment and all things employee experience related to join Laybuy HQ based at the BHive in Smales Farm, Takapuna.

In this role you'll be:

  1. Proactively partnering with Leaders across the business
  2. Delivering on our global talent strategy ensuring we attract and retain top talent
  3. Creating and implementing initiatives which deliver amazing candidate + employee experiences.
  4. Working on projects, we’re only four years young so there’s plenty to get involved in
  5. A culture ambassador so it’s key you align with our 6 values: one team, customer first, innovation, make a difference, integrity + FUN
  6. Managing a varied workload in a fast past scaling FinTech and need to be comfortable with ever changing environments

Requirements

  1. You’re an experienced and confident advisor/BP that knows what good looks like across all stages of the employee lifecycle
  2. Have proven experience in Talent attraction, ER, performance management, coaching and project execution. Lamp;D and event management experience would be beneficial but not essential
  3. You’re personable and through your outstanding communication and interpersonal skills you build strong and effective relationships with high levels of trust including having the credibility to challenge and influence
  4. You're super organised, plan your time well, naturally optimistic, self motivated, adaptable, resilient, willing to roll your sleeves up, love to problem solve and open to feedback
  5. Well versed in Microsoft Office suite and G-suite and working knowledge of HR Systems (we use Bamboo HR and Workable)
  6. Ideally will have worked for a global company, FinTech in a high-growth and fast paced environment
