Job Description

We are looking for a Recruitment Advisor to manage our studio recruitment on a fixed term contract. This parental leave role is from July 2020 to early February 2021 and offers flexible working days and hours. As a key role in a small People amp; Culture team, your scope oversees end to end recruitment, liaising with internal hiring managers ensuring they are kept up to date and working with stakeholders to make sure our project teams have the skills required to run projects smoothly.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for all recruitment across our Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch studios. Due to the time of year, this may include managing our Graduate Recruitment Drive and Internship campaigns where applicable. Our Pamp;C Team consists of this role, the Pamp;C Lead and the Pamp;C Coordinator who work closely together, sharing information, overseeing their portfolios and supported each other daily.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the recruitment cycle from taking an initial brief, drafting ads, screening candidates, compiing interview guides, conducting background checks and managing the offer with the candidate.
  • Liaising with recruitment agencies where applicable and ensuring all candidates have a positive and enjoyable recruitment experience with us.
  • Candidate management, maintaining close contact with our top candidates ensuring they are kept up to date with their application status and are and expectations.
  • Coordinating recruitment events and campaigns for graduate and internship programme, in partnership with key universities.
  • Providing sound, proactive, legally compliant commercial end-to-end recruitment and selection support across Jasmax, from sourcing to placement, providing a seamless transition from selection to on-boarding.

Requirements

  • 5 years+ managing the recruitment function, ideally in an internal recruitment team or recruitment agency.
  • Hands-on experience with senior hiring managers and stakeholders, delivering to deadlines and maintaining candidate communication is key.
  • Organizational, communication and time-management skills.
  • Up to date working knowledge of NZ employment legislation and recruitment trends.
  • Prior experience with Workable ATS would be an advantage, or similar.
