Becoming an Advertising Strategist
As an Advertising Strategist you will work with a talented group of media specialists and brand strategists to bring great ideas to life and create award winning campaigns.
As an Advertising Strategist at TG you will:
- Contribute to data-driven campaign strategies and the analysis of TG's paid media and marketing campaigns, with the support of senior media team colleagues
- Develop media plans for digital advertising and media buying opportunities, including making informed recommendations for platform/channel mix, target audiences, tactics and media formats for campaigns
- Set up, monitor and update digital advertising campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snap and other social media platforms
- Set up, monitor and update PPC, programmatic and search advertising campaigns
- Report on and optimize current and new digital advertising campaigns, with the support of senior media team colleagues
- Liaise with media partners and vendors
- Support the preparation of presentations on paid ad campaigns for major accounts
- Stay abreast of industry trends to ensure TG is at the forefront of ever changing digital requirements
- Manage your workload across multiple projects and deadlines
- Identify best practices across media and advertising strategy
- Take initiative and be able to solve problems quickly
- Liaise with other departments including creative, strategy, technology and accounts specialists to support the delivery of client projects
- Work with senior colleagues to develop your skills
Requirements
- 1-2 years + experience working as a paid media specialist within a relevant field
- Experience working across digital advertising campaigns
- A strong understanding of advertising and digital campaigns and strategies
- Knowledge and understanding of digital advertising platforms, especially pertaining to media campaign strategy, configuration and reporting
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
- Enthusiasm and professionalism
- Creativity and adaptability to be able to conceptualise original and bespoke ideas
- Excellent written and oral communication and listening skills
- Keen eye for detail
- An entrepreneurial attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
- Strong understanding and proficiency with data manipulation using Excel or equivalent platforms
