About the Role
As a Technical Project Manager in our internal facing Group Technology Operations team, you’ll lead and manage projects, and enhancements and optimisations in our backlog for our internal business systems.
You'll use your experience with Agile and Waterfall Methodologies to successfully deliver on time and on budget, working collaboratively with internal business stakeholders, our product managers, analysts and other functional and technical resources. The role has an important strategic focus for our Accounting Services function for the group. Integral is delivering the work to a high standard and ensuring quality is baked in from start to finish.
What you'll do
- Responsible for the projects, enhancement and optimisations, as part of a broader programme of work for our internal business systems.
- Build and manage relationships with all stakeholders including senior level managers.
- Manage planning, preparation, timelines, budgets, resourcing, flagging any issue and risk areas and the mitigations. Contain and manage scope and any change requests.
- Overseeing quality assurance processes and practices.
- Prepare and deliver project/work status reports for the Product Managers on the work you are doing.
- Confidently lead project teams in a collaborative manner to successfully deliver the work on time.
What you'll bring
We need people who are engaging, intelligent and driven in their approach to project management. Naturally, you will be an excellent communicator and will come from a successful background of technical project delivery.
- A successful track record in delivering ERP and SRP based projects utilising both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Experience as a senior level team player responsible for leading and driving internal ERP and SRP programme related work. Some of this work will be project related, and also enhancement and optimisation focused. Comfortable managing a workload across multiple projects, Jira backlog and teams etc.
- Strong financial acumen desired
- The ability to get Technical and hands on at any stage in the process. Willing and able to assist and guide others with their tasks.
- Experience in mentoring, strategic planning, risk management and change management.
- A can-do attitude. Ability to learn fast and confident in all aspects of delivery and in making decisions.
