About the role
Located on Auckland’s North Shore and reporting to the Hardware Validation Team Lead, this role will be a senior member of our Hardware Product Validation team. You will play a key role in developing a world class validation environment.
Working with a broader set of teams including the Hardware MBUs (Mini Business Units), NPI, Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware and Software the Senior Validation Engineer will own the end-to-end Hardware Product Validation process for their designated MBU from test amp; sprint planning to reporting and process improvement.
As a senior member of our Hardware Validation Team, you will lead and be an ambassador for the implementation of standardized scientific test methods and processes. You will provide key mentorship to more junior members in a safe, open, and encouraging environment.

About your Experience
To be successful in this role you will have held senior positions in Mechanical or Electrical design and manufacturing or product testing environments. A strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Firmware systems at the product level are key to your success. The following experience is desired:
