Job Description
Invenco builds hardware and software payment products - we are an innovative company with a wide global customer reach. We have a highly collaborative Finance team - supporting new customer solutions in North America, Malaysia and Europe. We are looking for a Engineering Document Writer to be part of the Invenco team!
About the role
Located on Auckland’s North Shore and reporting to our Compliance and Security Manager, you will be responsible for creating quality technical documentation that supports the Invenco product lines. To extract technical information from engineers and developers, translate and document into a language that is easily understood.
The core responsibilities will include:
Create, Review and Maintain easy to read and understand:
- Install Manuals
- User Guides
- Repair Manuals
- Trouble shooting guides
- Service Manual
- Spare Parts lists
- Product Requirement Documents
- Technical Specifications
This role will also include:
- Implementation of Documentation best practices
- Development of documentation and other process flows
- Writing of Retro-fit Kit install guides
- Writing of Manufacture Work Instructions
About Your Experience
To be successful in this role it is critical to be a hands-on person who is keen to pull products apart, build them back up again and test the accuracy and usability of your documents. You will be comfortable with applying this practical method across all the mechanical, electrical and software domains.
- Approachable amp; positive attitude
- Collaborator who likes to work ahead of the curve
- End to end process ownership
- Experience in technical writing portfolio showing work history
- Experience with document revision control and release systems
- 2 years relevant experience (document writing and control in a technical environment)
- Experience with Markdown concepts and tools
- Experience with Engineering PLM systems
- Work experience in a Development/Design environment
