About the role:

We are looking for a recent grad to join our South Island team! This is a varied role where you’ll have the opportunity to grow, learn and engage with many people across the business. The focus of this role is to support the Head of South Island and our sales and customer teams with market research, thought leadership, projects, reporting and coordination of events and marketing initiatives.


What you’ll do:

  • Research, develop and plan our local market strategy
  • Plan activities, projects and initiatives to deliver on that strategy including thought leadership around specific topics
  • Reporting and track performance against the strategies
  • Co-ordinate relevant events and initiatives to promote the Datacom brand to customers, future employees and Iwi.


What you’ll bring

We’re looking for a high-achieving recent graduate who has a strong interest in business performance and also loves to work with people. The technology sector is a growing and dynamic industry where you’ll be constantly challenged and given the opportunity to do more. Through your ability to quickly understand the core challenges of any situation, create clear written and visual documentation and willingness to learn, you will be a huge asset to the team. You may have recently completed a business, commerce, or marketing degree and have a strong interest in technology. This is a great opportunity for someone who is energetic, detailed and results-focused.
