Job Description
An exciting opportunity awaits a highly motivated Barista for Vices amp; Virtues in Salisbury Street, Christchurch CBD.
Designed by the award winning Rachel Luchetti and adjoining a luxury accommodation complex, the 100 seat upmarket Vices amp; Virtues is a busy gourmet affair featuring the latest food trends, exceptional wine and innovative cocktails.
Ideally you will have experience in a similar role, a passion for exceeding guests expectations and the ability to deliver top quality tasting coffee. Previous barista/bar experience preferred. You will also be flexible to work am and pm shifts - approx 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide a warm engaging welcome to all guests
- Producing consistently high quality coffees and beverages
- Preparation of the restaurant for service
- Seating guests, taking orders and delivering exceptional service at all times
- Taking external and internal phone inquiries and delivery of room service
- Settling guest accounts
- Ensuring a positive resolution and follow up with any guest complaints
Requirements
- Exceptional grooming and hygiene standards
- Experience in a similar role
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- Flexible to work a variety of am and pm shifts
- Can work on a rotating roster 7 days a week
