We're on the hunt for a full time enthusiastic, skilled, professional Duty Manager to stamp their expertise on our L'affare Wellington café and roastery.
We’re an odd lot but passionate about coffee and food and we're after people that are similar. You will be working in a small team, so you must be a team player!
You'll work around 35-42 hours per week on a Monday to Sunday roster, daytime hours.
Duties:
*Ensure the cafe is set up at the start of the day
*Lead the FOH team throughout the shift, directing staff and keeping them focussed and motivated
*Ensure we achieve a balance between staff costs and customer service
*Ensure all customers received the best possible experience at L'affare
*Complete the daily cash up and cafe closure processes
Requirements
We are looking for someone that:
*Ideally, has at least one year experience managing in either a café, bar or restaurant.
*Demonstrates great customer relations and people skills.
*Is able to work well in a team.
*Follows instructions well.
*Is able to handle high pressure situations with ease.
*Has good time management.
*Can work early morning starts (6:30 -7am)
Duty managers license is a bonus
Coffee experience is not necessary but would help
