On a day-to-day basis the person in this role will be advising people leaders, attracting amazing talent and keeping a finger on the pulse of how we efficiently keep teams humming with all of the capability they need to succeed. The People and Culture team works cross functionally so a desire to work across the scope of 'everything people in work' is at the centre of this role. The person who will succeed in this role is someone who LOVES everything tech, innovation, people and solving meaningful problems for humankind.


The role:

  • Be the go to subject matter expert for internal people leaders and workforce planning roles for everything RUSH recruitment
  • Drive hiring needs assessments throughout the organisation, pushing the boundaries, balancing both immediate needs and long term strategy of our workforce
  • Accountable for the recruitment lifecycle end to end (with help of course)
  • Regular connection with relevant networking and community groups, promoting RUSH and fostering a relevant talent pipeline. Being the number one promoter of our Employer brand
  • Acts as the subject matter expert on recruitment software to ensure the technology is utilised to automate processes and lessen any friction for our candidates and stakeholders
  • Regular reporting on hiring metrics, influencing a data driven approach to our strategy (time to hire, brand, social, turnover, diversity, experience and more).
  • Works as a collaborative member of the People and Culture team on initiatives such as Onboarding, Offboarding, Data and Tech capability, Leadership, learning and development, wellbeing and more.
  • Curates a sense of belonging for all of the RUSH community be it talent market, employees, contractors, partners, clients and beyond

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an Internal Recruiter, Recruiter or similar role
  • Experience recruiting technical roles, ideally with the ability to make technical assessments
  • Solid understanding of full life-cycle recruiting
  • People amp; Culture generalist experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of the fundamentals of New Zealand employment legislation as relating to recruitment and hiring
  • Experience working autonomously
  • A working knowledge of agile and human centred design (desirable)
  • Either a depth of experience recruiting tech roles, or a background in tech
  • Digital Marketing or social media experience a plus
  • Experience developing an EVP for an organisation
  • Can exemplify process creation and implementation
  • Has a keen eye on managing systematic and personal bias in the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Has an active knowledge of talent movements across countries and supports employees with their continued eligibility to work in NZ
  • Empathetic, and able to relate to people from a wide range of backgrounds and communication styles
  • Brings a diversity of thought and culture-enrichment to RUSH
