Job Description



We are looking for a Reservations Specialist for our vibrant Auckland CBD central reservations team. Can you manage all aspects of guests reservations with warmth and care that our team are renown for? If so keep reading..

Responsibilities include managing bookings and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for memorable customer service and experience in the hotel or travel and tourism industry, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will help ensure our guests make the most of their day!


Responsibilities

  • Assist our customers to make the most of their online and phone reservations
  • Provide information about our hotels, available rooms, rates and amenities
  • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
  • Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

Requirements

  • Experience as a Hotel Reservationist, Front Desk Receptionist or similar role
  • Experience with hotel software, Opera, HMS or similar
  • Understanding of how online travel agents (OTAs) operate
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work at pace and within a team environment
  • Must be able to work am and pm shifts including some weekends.
