Job Description
Marketplacer is a global technology led platform which enables our customers to create all types of marketplaces. We are recognised as one of the world’s leading providers of online marketplace software.
At Marketplacer, we are building the world’s best marketplace SaaS platform and we’re looking for a senior ruby/rails engineer to join our team.
The Marketplacer platform is built on a modern stack of Ruby on Rails 5 and ReactJS. It relies on MySQL as its database, Elasticsearch for search indexing and runs on multiple distributed AWS services.
Requirements
A successful candidate will:
- Have good problem solving skills and understanding of programming patterns
- Have strong Ruby/Rails skills
- Be comfortable working as part of a team on large projects
- Be familiar with unit, integration and/or functional automated testing
- Be willing to work across the entire stack
Knowledge of MySQL, React/ES6+, Elasticsearch, AWS, Docker, and Ubuntu Linux will be also be considered favourably.
