Our team
Our engineering team is the crème de la crème of the engineering world. These incredible humans are the beating heart of EROAD. We’re a technology company providing easy solutions to some tricky road regulations in NZ, Australia and North America. They code and build for all of it. And they make sure that technology is secure, stable, reliable and accurate 24/7, 365 days a year.
The Role
We are looking for two highly competent professionals: an Agile BA and BA/PO with a passion to align customer reality amp; product development with EROAD's determination to be a global leader in providing future ready integrated technology, tolling amp; service solutions for commercial fleets amp; vehicles across a variety of sectors. Our BA-PO’s are the internal champion of our most important team member our customer. They use their customer acumen amp; empathy, critical thinking skills amp; robust analysis to support EROADs Product Managers (PMs), User Experience (UX) team, fellow analysts amp; agile development teams work cohesively to understand complex customer scenarios, problems amp; needs with exceptional depth amp; clarity.
In this role you will:
- Maintain the customer voice amp; reality in all we consider
- Engage internal teams amp; external customers to analyse current situations, needs, desired outcomes - ensuring a thorough amp; unbiased understanding
- Participate in validating amp; testing product features amp; concepts EROAD may be exploring with the market amp; customers
- Proactively identify amp; assess information relevant to inform a comprehensive amp; robust understanding of subjects EROAD may be involved with
- Apply relevant analytical skills amp; techniques to understand, validate amp; articulate challenges, opportunities, inclusions, requirements amp; options
- Grooming enhancement requests amp; product tickets with Product Owner(s)
- Support the team’s determining the best solution for product or customer scenarios ensuring team’s use relevant information to inform their design
- Contribute to creating acceptance criteria for new features, releases amp; products
- Support development team testing activities to ensure any final product considers any key requirements or exclusions
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- A min 5 yrs. experience in business analysis or related role
- Transportation industry experience would be a plus not essential
- Familiarity amp; comfort working cross-organisationally with stakeholders
- Demonstrated communication skills interactive, verbal amp; written
- Experience with Jira amp; Confluence
- Experience or comfort working in an Agile development environment
- Experienced working with technical, complex products amp; subjects
