Responsibilities :

About You

The responsibilities of the Business Manager are as broad and varied as the components that go into a successful building. You’d be the nerve center of our business, putting your deep knowledge of digital, critical path analysis, finance and management into play every day. You would also draw upon your interpersonal skills such as motivation, mentorship, problem solving and conflict resolution, because at the end of the day, it’s the team that gets the job done.

Every day as a Foundry Business Manager is different! On any given day, you might:

  • Meeting senior executives across our customers and engage in discussions around their business challenges and where 10x opportunities to deliver value exist;
  • Cut the ribbon on a project that you led through all stages of development, from initial needs-analysis through closeout;
  • Develop systems to govern multiple projects and their deliverables, schedules and budgets, and then aggressively manage them make sure all milestones are met;
  • Evangilise what’s new in Cx, Design and Emerging Tech
  • Monitor business amp; project performance
  • Lead regular project meetings with your team and with vendors to review budgets and milestone markers, and to pool your collective knowledge to address problems;
  • Meet with teams across Datacom to onboard programs and ideas developed from within Datacom Foundry;
  • Develop and update schedules for each project to insure on-time project completion;
  • Collaborate with Datacom stakeholders to put together project funding documentation, then present to senior management;
  • Conduct workshops and interface with stakeholders to learn the specific needs of each business;
  • On a monthly basis, review financials across your projects;
  • Forecast costs and cash flow to create reports that resonate with senior leaders;
  • Manage the change-order process with vendors and internal workforce, and negotiate change-order claims with vendors;
  • Pro-actively communicate status of projects to senior leaders and stakeholders;

Basic Qualifications :


Here is what you will need to be successful in the role:

  • A minimum of five years of experience working in Creative and Technology industries preferably with a focus on developing new propositions, product management and leading teams;
  • Experience juggling stakeholder reqeusts at once, and prioritizing competing work streams;
  • Draw up on your creative amp; technical skills to solve problems, handle detail and complexity;
  • Deep fundamental knowledge of the digital landscape including web, mobile, AI, AR, VR, etc;
  • Future Back and Bottom-line orientation you know what it means to run a sustainable business, which helps customers build their future while running a sustainable business ;
  • Understand the need to work with stakeholders to understand the unique workplace needs that will be impacted;
  • Sharp verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with all part of the project team, including design, finance, IT, corporate and project control;
  • Success interacting with third-party vendors;
  • Create strong partnerships within your team, support common goals and group achievements, and use your management skills to help your people develop their careers within Datacom;
  • Conflict resolution skills, and ability to develop win/win solutions;
