Requirements
In this role you'll be testing software which deploys frequently to over 100,000 connected in-cab telematics units. You'll be working with new technologies to deliver exciting outcomes:
- Work with the Product Development Team to test applications during the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
- Analyse and provide input into technical and requirement specifications
- Create and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, test conditions, and test scripts as well as peer reviewing others within the test team
- Think outside the box and be inventive in identifying, designing and building upon the existing automated test framework for smoke and regression testing
- Experience in agile teams delivering products through the entire development lifecycle.
- Experience with Backend Services and API testing.
- Knowledge of DBs/SQL
- Knowledge and experience of AWS or similar cloud environments
- Agile Mindset - Willingness to try and fail and motivation to learn
- You have some basic understanding of systems.
Desirable:
- Experience with bespoke test automation, preferably with testing hardware
- Experience with code inspection and peer review
- Experience with testing firmware applications
- Experience with automated testing API frameworks such as REST-Assured/ SOAPUI or similar
- Knowledge of CI/CD and Knowledge of Docker, Git-hub or similar tools
- Experience in Java development
