If you are passionate about service and have a smile to match, we are seeking a Night Porter for our brand new 186 room Sudima Auckland City Hotel.
We are looking for an enthusiastic applicant who understands the meaning of great guest service, team work and attention to detail. A team player who enjoys the hospitality industry and wants to further their career.
This is a full time role covering 5 shifts per week from 11pm to 7am.
You must have a full drivers licence to be successful in this role.

Requirements
The primary objective of this role is to provide exceptional guest service, deliver logical problem solving in a timely manner and amaze guests with your personality and attitude. On a daily basis, the successful candidate will:
- Attend to guests requirements and requests
- Valet park and collect guest cars
- Collect and deliver guest luggage to and from cars and rooms
- Provide information to guests on things to do around town and further afield
- Assist all departments as required during busy times
- Check guests in and out
- Attend to any emergency issues including security, maintenance, fire or evacuation
- Ensure employee personal presentation is consistent with Sudima brand standards
- Communicate professionally and effectively with all hotel departments, teams , senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Ensure Health and Safety standards are being met and reported as per policy
- Comply with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and amendments, Smoke Free Environments Act 1990 and the Gambling Act 2003 New Zealand Legislation
