About The Role
We're on the hunt for an experienced intermediate level accountant to join us supporting the day to day financial accounting function in addition to acting as direct support to the FC.
Your day to day involves:
- Assisting in the provision of accurate and timely monthly and annual reporting, including cash flow, treasury, tax and statutory reporting
- Preparation of partner invoices and monthly/weekly invoices
- Balance sheet reconciliations and ad-hoc reporting/analysis
- Financial reporting tasks, ensuring all revenue and expenses are recognized correctly
- Being a link between finance and operations
- Completion of statutory and tax reporting
- Expense review and analysis including variance analysis of expenses
- Managing and reporting fixed-assets and deprecation
- Creating efficiencies and solutions
- Supporting financial controller and internal stakeholders as required
About You
This role is ideal for a junior or intermediate level accountant, interested in expanding and developing their accounting remit in a fast-faced and high volume commercial accounting environment. We're looking for someone who has worked in medium to large organizations who can come in and hit the ground running, supporting our FC and wider finance team.
Additionally, you will bring with you the following:
- At least 3 years proven experience as an Accountant
- Intermediate to Advanced ability in MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- A proactive approach to seeking efficiencies and simplifications
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work to deadlines and suggest solutions
- Initiative to speak up, get involved and take on more
- CA qualification an advantage
