The Opportunity

Do you want to join a New Zealand consultancy that is just a little bit different? We’re looking for Environmental Consultants that are up for a challenge and keen to get involved with a diverse range of environmental management services and projects across New Zealand. We currently have exciting opportunities available for experienced Environmental Consultants to join our talented team.

Working alongside a vibrant team, as the successful candidate, you will be assisting us in maintaining and growing 4Sight’s vision for our Environmental Services and our market reach, by providing exceptional client and project management services to our expanding client base.

Requirements

What we need from you

  • 2+ years’ experience in environmental consulting, specifically asbestos surveying, reporting, and management. Expertise in a wider range of environmental risk management practices would be beneficial.
  • An asbestos qualification such as BOHS IP402, BOHS IP404, and/or BOHS IP405, would be preferred
  • A WorkSafe issued Asbestos Assessor License and a valid and clean New Zealand drivers’ licence.
  • Sound project management skills and a drive to consistently deliver client’s needs.

You will already have a demonstrated aptitude in all aspects of environmental consulting, including the ability to work independently in the field, collate and compile data into accurate deliverables, and skills in working alongside contractors and clients.

We have a diverse mix of clients so having great interpersonal skills is key with a calm and confident communication style. You will be resilient and be able to adapt your approach whilst having a good sense of humour, a strong work ethic and skills to work collaboratively within a highly motivated team. It is important that you have an aptitude for business development as you are the face of 4Sight onsite.

Your key responsibilities would include:

  • Working closely alongside and in collaboration with 4Sight staff, clients, asset owners and property partners to conduct field work, including conducting asbestos surveys, and providing asbestos supervision and clearance;
  • Providing sound technical advice on best practice solutions and creating positive outcomes for our clients; and
  • Preparation of technical reports and management plans.
