The role
Fixed term contract until 30th June 2022.
As an End User Compute Technician, you will be working in a customer focused, high performing IT Project team, responsible for deploying and project support of infrastructure and end user computing services for Foodstuffs North Island Supermarkets Stores. This includes deployment of hardware and software across a range of equipment including End user devices, network and servers.What you’re responsible for:· Deploy and configure hardware and software to FSNI Supermarkets and Stores to prescribed standards following prescribed instructions, documentation or training.· Provide level 2/3 IT support for users based in FSNI Supermarkets and Stores· Support and carry out tasks from the STR3 Project to meet project deliverables· Assist remote support teams with incident resolution· Be the customer champion for their IT needsAbout youWhat skills and experience you need· Experience in customer facing IT support· Knowledge of new and emerging technology particular End User Devices· Expertise in infrastructure deployment and management practices· Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail· Able to understand, deliver and improve services and/or processes particularly processes that support achieving the STR3 Project outcomes· Fantastic customer supportWho we are?
