We are looking for an accomplished and qualified Financial Accountant to join our growing business. Ideally you will be Big 4 Audit trained and have had several years commercial experience. You will be responsible for leading the processing and reporting of all financial data and information. You will be sharp, analytical, meticulous and driven with exposure in manufacturing operations.
Along with the strong technical ability we would expect at this level, we are also seeking someone who can see the potential in this role. There is a lot of scope for someone with a continuous improvement mindset to add value to systems and processes within the team and wider business. This role will play a pivotal part in the ongoing growth and success of Sunfed and you will be part of a highly innovative team.
Requirements
You’ll be responsible for the Full Finance Function including:
- Financial analysis. Reporting of KPIs and management accounts; preparation of Board Reports
- Prepare and interpret financial information to ensure sound decision making across the business
- Budgeting and regular re-forecasting
- Attend Board meetings. Provide financial insight on various topics
- Supporting MRP alongside the operations team to support inventory, ordering and supply chain management
- Calculating and supporting the filing of Ramp;D submissions
- AP/AR and reconciliations
- Fixed asset register and depreciation schedule
- General ledger and accounts maintenance
- IRD correspondence
- Month End Closure, and monthly reporting with insights
- Cashflow Forecasting
- GST reconciliation, taxation and compliance
- Providing ad hoc strategic support on day to day queries from a financial perspective
We are looking for an individual who:
- Has 3-5 years' experience in a Financial Accounting role, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Is CA qualified (or equivalent)
- Has excellent commercial acumen
- Has high levels of energy and drive to work in this fast-paced environment
- Is an effective communicator, planner and trouble-shooter
- Has excellent attention to detail, can multi-task and meet deadlines
- Is a team player, flexible, and willing to provide a helping hand when needed
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Thrives in a high-paced agile Ramp;D environment and enjoys constant change
- Is a quick learner with a continuous improvement mindset and a positive attitude.
