We're growing rapidly with new clients and into new regions and are looking for an experienced Account Manager - FMCG (Supermarkets) to join the Sunfed team.

We are after someone who is highly energetic and self-driven with a strategic mind that can identify opportunities and have the discipline to follow-through at pace. You perform like an athlete, you enjoy setting ambitious targets for yourself and love smashing them! Sunfed is leading the way globally in a category-breaking space so to be successful, you must be able to think outside the box, spot unique opportunities and make it happen even if there is no precedent.

The successful person will play a pivotal role in the ongoing growth and success of Sunfed and be part of a highly innovative team.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters - in particular Supermarkets across NZ and Australia
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

Requirements

  • You will have proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager ideally working within the FMCG - Supermarkets portfolio
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
  • Exceptional communication, listening and presentation skills
  • Strong background in negotiating and tendering contracts with proven ability to close lucrative deals
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Target driven with the ability to work to tight deadlines amp; budget, and exceed KPI's
  • Work well both independently and as a team, as well as discipline to perform autonomously and remotely
  • You thrive in a fast-paced agile dynamic environment, enjoy daily challenges and constant change
  • You’re a quick learner with a continuous improvement mindset and a positive solutions-focused attitude
