About the Role

We build and run some of key systems for iconic Kiwi companies and we keep their business’s running globally whilst supporting them from the heart of the North Island. As a result, we are passionate about getting the results that the customer needs and adding value to their business.

As a Senior System Engineer your knowledge, and more importantly ability to learn and apply your skills, will lead to success in the role and for the team.

This role can be based in either of the following locations: Hamilton, Tauranga or Taranaki.

What you’ll bring

You're someone who enjoys solving problems and who wants to be part of the wider Datacom machine in supporting users as a senior. Strong communication and customer service skills are key in this role. You value providing support to end users and are willing to go the extra mile for internal and external customers.

You are someone who:

· Has passion and pride in everything that they do

· Has the knack to easily multi-task between our varied client environments

· Is honest and transparent communication with excellent organisation skills

· Who is self-motivated and managing (although you’ll be backed by senior managers and your peers)


And on the technical side, some of the technologies we play with and you will ideally understand include..

· Microsoft product range with focus on core server fundamentals (2008+) Virtualisation (VMware 4.1+ or Hyper-V 2012+)

· Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS

· Cloud services, e.g. Office365, MS365

· Google Cloud Platform

· Citrix (v6+), Hyper-V

· Exchange (2013, 2016, Online)

· And Certifications are beneficial
