About the Role

The Pre Sales Executive (PSE) role will involve the identification of new business opportunities, maintenance of key information and bid involvement and participation, to this end the PSE is expected to be creative in ensuring both Company and individual targets are met or exceeded by selling the full suite that Datacom has to offer. Being associated with Datacom is a great step up. We’ve got the networks but you need to be able to maintain these networks and create your own. We’re looking for someone who can step in and take control of the market.

What you’ll bring

  • Knowledge of IT Services and Solutions
  • Understanding of Local Government market
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to absorb technical information.
  • Excellent sales qualification skills with proven ability to negotiate and close win/win solutions for all parties
  • Effectively conveys politically and culturally sensitive information of a complex nature to a diverse audience.
  • Successfully negotiates and/or resolves conflict with Datacom team members, vendors or customers, building support for preferred alternatives.
  • Excellent customer relationship building and management skills
  • Strong influencing and persuasive ability

Responsibilities

  • Creation and Management of Sales Account Plans, reviewed quarterly.
  • Data and lead management
  • Respond to sales enquiries using appropriate methods. Attend and present at external customer meetings as well as internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
  • Be involved in bid and pre sales activities like demos and responding to bids.
