About the Role

As a Datacom Digital PM/DL your role is not just to run projects successfully, on time and on budget, but also to enhance our reputation with our customers, to deliver ongoing value, to innovate and lead, and to manage and mentor your delivery team every day.

PM’s are the most truly diverse people in our delivery teams with the most impact on how our customers view us as a service provider. There is no room for mechanical project management in Datacom.

You will be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of content management systems and SEO practices. Outstanding Digital Project Managers have an excellent technical background, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Digital Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Deliver iterative on-going customer programmes.
• Maintain a strategic and customer experience focus across projects.
• Analyzing project requirements and preparing budgets and schedules.
• Developing detailed designs, plans, and monitoring progress and reporting
• Liaising with relevant teams, clients, and managers for the duration of the project.
• Conducting research on market trends and how to use social media for advertising.
• Establishing good relationships with clients and other professionals.
• Using content management systems and project management software.
• Aligning digital marketing strategies with overall business goals.
• Keeping abreast of all developments in digital marketing.

Digital Project Manager Requirements:

• Excellent management, interpersonal, and teambuilding skills

Ideal Background / Experience:

• A university degree in a related field
• Knowledge of agile project management methodologies, along with the supporting software and tools
• Proven track record in delivering software projects on time and in budget.
• Strong people management, planning, risk management and change management experience.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills
