About the Role
As the Cloud Platform Principal Consultant you’ll be primarily responsible for the pre-sales side on things, bringing in delivery work for the rest of the team to transact.
You will have the opportunity to combine your excellent technical knowledge, your desire to continue learning and your great people skills in this role. This is a highly customer facing position, so naturally, you’ll be articulate and extremely passionate about what you do!
What you’ll do
Working with our vast array of clients across the Midlands business (Hamilton, Tauranga and New Plymouth), you’ll engage, present and plan on all things Cloud Platform related. Technically sound across Azure and AWS, you’ll be comfortable working with clients to understand their needs and recommending solutions that are right for their business.
A team payer, you’ll be adept in working across the Datacom matrix to engage the right teams and contacts and will be comfortable working with technical specialists in other locations.
You will have experience with the following tool sets and methodologies
At least 4 years of hands-on Azure and/ or AWS experience
- Azure Certification associate level (min.)
- Automation
- DevOps
- CI/CD Pipeline
- Infra-as-Code
What you’ll bring
This is an excellent senior role for a people person who is passionate about new technologies and producing excellent solutions for our client needs. You’ll already have 10 years IT experience and will be able to talk to us about how you’ve grown and kept up to date with the latest and greatest over that time. You will have knowledge of enterprise datacentre technologies and automation technologies. Ideally you will have technical leadership experience or qualities to really shine in this role.
We are keen to hear about your proven technical track record in delivery of complex hybrid cloud and or public cloud delivery. Your relationship building and communication skills will be a strength, as will your ability to shape conversations at the pre-sales stage.
