About the Role
The SA role is responsible for defining and championing the strategic direction for corporate infrastructure and services with the business to provide high value services and reduce the total cost of ownership of the technical corporate assets.
As part of this role, you'll be focused on the following key areas;
- Identify and lead opportunities for corporate IT infrastructure and services.
- Appraise and advise on the technical solutions and products and making recommendations on the acquisition of advanced technology.
- Facilitate the introduction of ‘leading edge’ technologies to the organisation and maintain roadmaps for corporate platform.
- Manage and direct the optimisation of corporate infrastructure and services.
- Provide advice, technical directions and consultancy.
- Coordinate with corporate service providers (internal and external) to ensure service availability, quality and compliance to Datacom technical infrastructure best practice and standards.
- Provide a Centre of Excellence in the above areas and work with projects implementing new technology.
- Provide guidance and advice within the latitude of established company policies in order to meet schedules and resolve technical problems. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect the division
What you’ll bring
This is a senior role, so we need someone with significant experience in a similar role, previously. You'll have worked across both Professional Services and Managed Services environments and will be adept at interacting with stakeholders across a variety of seniority levels. You'll have strong knowledge of electronic concepts in hardware operation, and new computing directions and technologies, as well as strong financial management practices with a clear understanding of the relationship between costs, utilisation and project revenue. You'll have a solid grounding in a tier 2 service provider environment and will have demonstrable experience in managing individuals and teams.
