We want to provide an awesome customer experience using automation and digitalisation to sync in with our internal partners to produce joined up delivery rather than manual and transactional individual processes.He aha tau e mahi ana |What you’ll be doing:Crucial to the organisational stability of NZTE is sound financial administrative and analytical support. As the Accounts Analyst you will own accounts receivable processing, monthly reconciliations, verification of ledgers/accounts and finance system maintenance tasks including delegations and project updates. Working with the wider Finance team you will support the development of strategy for innovation within NZTE financial processes and systems development to maximise efficiency and improve end-user experience. You will use your excellent attention to detail to ensure that weekly and monthly responsibilities are met, e.g. finance timetables, bank reconciliations and cash management. Adept at operating within with complex finance policies and guidance, you will support the Financial Controller and wider team in accurate and timely financial reporting, administration, and various accounting projects. This team is transforming how we do finance here at NZTE and we are looking for someone who embraces change, forges great relationships and is an energetic team player.
Ko nga mea ka hiahiatia e koe kia angitu te haere |What you’ll need to be successful:You will possess previous experience in account payable or receivable role and strong organisational skills, experience within the public sector is preferred but not crucial. A natural collaborator, your ability to be self-directed juggler of your BAU work and projects will be the key to success you can be counted on to work with the right people to get the job done amongst tight and competing deadlines. You will be technically savvy with a good understanding of Excel and Microsoft Office and be keen to further build your skill sets in systems and accounting practices. Solution rather than problem focused, you will use opportunities to provide insights and help drive for future change for the better of NZTE. Your ability to prioritise and the way you proactively drive for results will set you apart and show you are up to the challenge.
