Your new role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Storepersonto join our Supply Chain team based in Avondale, Auckland. This role contributes to the smooth running of our warehouse operation so that all materials/finished goods movements are despatched in accordance with the required DIFOT. As an experienced Storeperson, this is what a typical day will look like for you:
- Accurately picking customer orders and work orders
- Completing large orders of up to 30kgs, urgent orders and clearing back orders
- Packing orders in a timely manner and despatching orders on courier and bulk transport
- Inwards Goods: devanning containers, booking-in and palletising into warehouse racking system.
- Processing stock movements between warehouse and factory (and back into finished goods)
- Regular cycle counts and stock-takes.
- Promoting and supporting an environment conducive to delivering high performance including aligning decisions and performance to core values; compliance with safe systems of work; meeting OHamp;S; plus other relevant procedures and policies.
About you
Along with your 5 years of previous experience in the logistics/manufacturing environment, as well as counter balance forklift and high reach experience, you will:
- Hold a current forklift licence
- Be able to work independently and as a contributing team member
- Be computer literate and have some experience in warehouse administration
- Have strong drive for quality and precision and be self-motivated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
