About the Role
We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our innovative team and play a crucial role in shaping our digital infrastructure and products. In this role, you'll engage in all stages of software development, from conception through release, working on every aspect of the web stack. Your contributions will directly influence the user interface, application logic, and database operations, enhancing our business operations and user experience. This position is perfect for developers with a comprehensive understanding of technology, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative spirit.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand and enhance our web-based projects, particularly ARCHIPRO, using React and the SilverStripe framework, encompassing both front-end and back-end development tasks.
- Work closely with our creative design team to deliver user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing designs.
- Proactively improve our web platform by adding new features, optimizing existing functionalities, and resolving bugs.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, with the ability to learn and evaluate these technologies swiftly and autonomously.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, complemented with well-commented documentation.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold high coding standards, ensuring the delivery of efficient and reliable software solutions.
Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience in web development, with a strong background in building comprehensive web projects using React.
- Solid knowledge of PHP frameworks, with a deep understanding of development patterns crucial for web applications.
- Expertise in creating responsive web applications that deliver a seamless user experience across various devices.
- Proficiency in API development and integration.
- Exceptional front-end design skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and maintaining a growth mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with creative teams and translate design ideas into functional products.
Bonus Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with the SilverStripe framework.
- Proficiency in ElasticSearch.
- Experience with AWS CDK, AWS SDK, and Terraform.
