The Manawatu Community Trust is a Council Controlled Organisation providing social housing to a range of tenants that is modern, healthy and sustainable. We’re looking for a Tenancy and Wellbeing Officer to work with the MCT team to provide insight and information (key ingredients) to support tenant and wellbeing services, and support management decision-making all of the good stuff!
As Tenancy and Wellbeing Officer, you will be based in our Feilding office. Your core focus is on building positive, trust-based relationships with tenants. You’ll also be interacting with the MCT team, tenant whanau and support providers.
This role is absolutely vital to our organisation as you are the central link to ensure the team are supported and empowered to continue providing important services and information to our community.
You will have robust information and communication technology skills, as you’ll be responsible for tenant and community content creation and MCT website management. Your ability to build relationships is clear from day dot in the way you communicate and build rapport with others. You’re a collaborator, you understand the value of working as a team to ensure the needs of our community are met.
If this sounds like you, and you have experience in implementation and/or use of tenancy management software (this would be an advantage) and you are empathetic, collaborative and have high EQ, lets chat.
If this role has grabbed you, but you don’t tick all the boxes, we still want to hear from you. It’s 2024, you just never know where things will lead.
