Job Description

The Manawatu Community Trust is a Council Controlled Organisation providing social housing to a range of tenants that is modern, healthy and sustainable. We’re looking for a Facilities and Project Manager to support our maintenance workforce and contractors who provide reactive and scheduled maintenance services.

As Facilities and Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for tenant relationships, facility management and compliance. It’s one of those all-encompassing roles, so you’ll also have the hands-on technical skills, champion continuous improvement, proactively advocate Hamp;S, and be a promoter of our services and programmes.

You will have the innate ability to build positive, trust-based relationships with all stakeholders, from the MCT team and its Board of Trustees, to our tenants, suppliers and contractors. Your communication skills (both written and verbal) are second to none and go a long way in creating a culture of collaboration to improve operations across the organisation. Your contribution will be obvious from the get-go. You’re in this because it’s how you operate.
