New Zealand Fine Touring (NZFT) is a technology enabled travel business with a market opportunity and momentum to grow rapidly in both New Zealand and Australian markets.NZFT operates a multi-channel, multi-brand strategy, selling travel to international visitors who wish to travel across New Zealand and Australia. We offer highly tailored and ready-made tours with bespoke advice to our customers, ensuring they get the best experience possible!

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Content Marketing and SEO Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team and help us share our love for travel with the world. In this role you will be pivotal in developing and executing our content strategy across our website and wider marketing channels, including creation of written copy and multimedia assets. Your expertise in SEO, coupled with your passion for storytelling and travel, will enable us to reach a wider audience and increase our online presence, engage our target audience, and drive inbound leads.

What does the Role look like?

    • Supporting and implementing the development of a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with our brand’s mission and business goals, both in New Zealand and Australia.
    • Creating engaging, informative, and SEO-optimised content for our websites, blogs, social media platforms, and wider email campaigns both written copy and multimedia assets.
    • Conducting keyword research and use on-page and technical SEO best practices to increase traffic and improve our websites’ rankings in search engine results page.
    • Designing and creating compelling multimedia content, including videos, infographics, and interactive travel itineraries
    • Analysing content performance metrics and use insights to optimise future content and strategies
    • Working collaboratively across the marketing and wider teams to achieve the best possible results for the business
    • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in content marketing, SEO, and the travel industry to ensure our content remains relevant and competitive.

Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience in content marketing and SEO, preferably in the travel industry or a related field
    • Experience in digital marketing in particular in website design, copywriting and asset creation.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that have increased web traffic and engagement.
    • Thorough understanding of SEO principles, Google Analytics, and keyword research tools.
    • Strong skills in graphic design and proficiency in design software.
    • Experience with email marketing platforms, particularly Klaviyo.
    • Creative thinker, with strong organisational and project management skills.
    • A real team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism beneficial, or equivalent experience and professional achievement in digital marketing
