We’re on the hunt for a Bakery Specialist to join the team and use your technical and operational expertise to coach and mentor bakery managers to promote excellence in category performance and deliver growth in our stores across the Lower North Island.About the roleAs a Bakery Specialist you’ll use robust planning and financial data to identify and realise opportunities and put innovation into practice to achieve retail excellence. In your cluster of stores, you’ll have a travel cycle that allows you to support the in-store bakery with training and development of managers, health and safety issue resolution, implementation of strategy and projects and continuous improvement of processes. You’ll look after the Wellington and New Plymouth regions so travel is required for this role.About youSpecialist is the key word! With a passion for fresh food and the complexity of fresh retailing, you’ll have experience running a bakery, will be a qualified baker or will have a solid understanding of scratch baking.
