Job Description

We have an opportunity for a leader to join our production and development team in our Wanaka office. You will drive the product development and production engine that delivers on the Mons Royale mission.

What you will do:

Drive the continued improvement and elevation of Mons product.

Lead the team with your knowledge on garment construction, garment finishing, trim and components, and continuous development of Mons Royale preferred fibers.

Your Product Development team will manage all product costing from initial sketch to production; Implement and manage effective costing tools, driving best Develop to Cost practices.

Build and structure your team to ensure appropriate skills and experience are well-suited and maximized. Cultivating a culture of accountability, curiosity, progression, and teamwork

Manage set up and data integrity of PLM system.

Manage amp; monitor the critical path amp; track progress to ensure on time delivery ready for hand over to ops/logistics teams.

Lead communication with vendors to ensure design, quality, pricing, and on-time delivery.

Create production plans that ensure best on-time delivery, ensuring vendor compliance and quality control.

Understand the global textile regulatory requirements and ensure developments exceed or meet these needs.

Requirements

  • 10 years’ experience in production or similar roles
  • Experience in apparel/textile production delivering full on time
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Passion for textile amp; garment innovation
  • Proven track record in identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement
  • Time management and prioritizing skills
