About the role

We are seeking a talented Digital Business Analyst to come on board and help drive Vulcan's digital efforts. This role is multi-faceted in nature and we're after someone who is comfortable working across various digital products, rolling these out to a range of users and effectively managing and maintaining platforms.

You'll be joining a friendly, open-minded and cross-functional team who is constantly evolving, learning and growing. We're relaxed, yet focused and outcome driven.

Business Analysis:

  • Help solve business problems through supporting with the roll-out and management of third-party applications and platforms across Vulcan's geographies (New Zealand and Australia) and Business Units.
  • Enable the business to adopt digital initiatives and tools, through clear understanding of the differing user needs.
  • Map user journeys to introduce new processes and digital experiences relating to core products. Ensure user touchpoints, actions and obstacles are considered.

Product Ownership:

  • Support ownership of customer-facing digital products (third-party or in-house).
  • Manage key platforms, develop training materials, and facilitate integration efforts.
  • Support with integration efforts between products.

Drive Digital Initiatives:

  • Support the introduction of digital initiatives, relating to customer and supplier facing digital products.
  • Manage key digital projects, engage stakeholders, and facilitate change management.
  • Lead projects leveraging agencies and consultancies with clarity, ensuring timely outcomes.

Website Management:

  • Support with co-managing Vulcan's website(s) using WordPress, adhering to UX/UI principles.
  • Analyze website data to enhance the digital experience and support business growth.
  • Collaborate with the digital team and wider business to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and value for all users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, IT, or related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in a digital-related role.
  • Business Analysis experience, with a focus on customer/supplier-facing digital products.
  • Product management or ownership experience.
  • Wordpress experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Project management.
  • Agency and vendor management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in B2B industries.
  • IT procurement.
  • Autonomous, self-starter who has experience owning and rolling-out products.
