About the Role

As the Learning and Development Advisor you will have the opportunity to bring your talents to a diverse team who are constantly seeking and experimenting with new ways of inspiring, engaging and enabling learning for our people to support their continued growth.

What you’ll do

This role enables you to work with a wide variety of stakeholders to identify learning needs, recommend solutions and lead the full end to end process of design, delivery, and promotion of fit for purpose learning solutions.

You will enjoy loads of variety in this role working with a range of content areas and responsible for the design and/or curation of the learning assets and their implementation including facilitation, e-learning design, vendor management, programme management, reporting and continuous improvement processes. Based in Auckland, there is the occasional requirement to travel to our other Datacom offices to deliver training programmes to staff.

What you will bring

A positive and proactive mindset with a demonstrated passion for adult learning and exploring new ways of delivering outcomes for our people and our business. You will have great relationship skills and an ability to work well with leaders and teams across the organization.

Key requirements are:

  • Proven experience in designing contemporary learning solutions
  • Extensive experience in Workshop facilitation (both virtual amp; in person)
  • Previous experience in learning project and programme management
  • Experience in eLearning design
  • Vendor management experience is preferred but not essential
  • Previous experience working in a large IT organization is preferred but not essential
