You will be joining a fantastic team in our Internal Group Technology organisation who work collaboratively across teams and locations. It is a chance to be part of a group with a strong people, customer, and delivery focus.
About the Role
As a Group Technology Business Analyst you will be responsible for the process to gather, document, and support review and approval processes for the business, functional, and technical requirements for our projects. You will need to engage and lead workshops, and conversations with the business, and other Group Technology stakeholders at operational and senior leadership levels. In collaboration with others you will be responsible for the delivery of requirements documentation, and the related quality assurance processes.
This is a 6-month Fixed-Term position and can be based out of Auckland, Wellington or Melbourne.
What you’ll do:
- Establish and own the approach and process for defining and agreeing business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Run and lead workshops and meetings to gather requirements.
- Define and document complex business process flows.
- Create and deliver requirements documentation.
- Build and promote an open, trusted and respectful environment, facilitating discussion, collaborative decision making and conflict resolution.
- Assist and advise others where necessary with design, build, and test processes, and ensure alignment of requirements.

You’ll have:
- Minimum of 3 years of enterprise project experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Business Analyst with experience with ERP systems projects and transformational projects (desirable)
- Demonstrated influence and stakeholder relationship management
- Experience in systems evaluation and design
- Experience working with different project methodologies, Waterfall and Agile.
- Understanding of best practice and business process.
- Played a key role in projects you’ve been involved in, with demonstrated ownership of key activities and deliverables. Problem solving and demonstrated examples where you have tactfully resolved for complex issues and challenges.
