Web Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales)

Job Description
Squiz is looking to add a Web Solution Architect (possibly a Senior Developer/tech lead to step up) to the team to assist Account Managers and Business Development Managers to respond to opportunities. You will help position our products and services to clients and design appropriate solutions for their requirements.
Day to day, this means that you will be:
- Be a digital leader, support sales in discovery to find out real customer challenges that our solutions can support.
- Documenting solutions using solution architecture diagrams, solution descriptions and even mock up some interfaces.
- Join calls, respond via our ticketing system to professional services requests for both new amp; house business.
- Support the technical response in tenders
- Maintain a service catalogue as requested solutions and new product features are released
- Develop commercially successful solutions that align with Squiz principles to develop solutions that are fast to build, robust amp; maintainable.
Who you are:
For this role, we ask that you can demonstrate:
- Commercial experience in software engineering, either in development or technical consulting.
- Experience in planning, designing and building complex, high-quality, robust web applications and information systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Web Services industry standards and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles and design.
- Strong experience in the full Web Services Architecture and its operational components (HTTP, RESTful API integrations, experience developing frontend solutions using CMS’s or DXP and related products, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.)
- Experience working in pre-sales or sales environments, supporting non technical staff and clients.
