In order to create optimal test automation suites, you will also bring a history of great testing practices and truly understand how automation fits into the wider QA strategy.

The offering salary for the successful candidate for the Associate Role is $60,000-$65,000

What you will do? (Your Why):

You will implement, improve and augment test automation frameworks in Java, C# or Selenium. You will be creative in your approaches and be able to implement solutions that require the use of multiple tools and technologies. You will bring test automation experience spanning across a variety of tools and platforms.

What you will bring:

  • Proven knowledge of the proper automation approach across the software testing levels and with various software development lifecycles such as Agile and DevOps
  • Ability to analyse a project, determine the optimal tool set, implement a proof-of-concept and present the results
  • Proven ability to deliver quality results in a busy and dynamic business-focused environment
  • Knowledge of good software development practices and current methodologies and tools such as BDD with Gherkin
  • Ability to contribute to developing test automation skills and knowledge within the wider team
  • Dedication to improvement via training, certifications or self-study
  • Java Spring Boot, Automation experience with Selenium (Java or C#), Junit, RestAssured
  • Experience with API mocking tools such as Mockito
  • CI/CD with Jenkins or Azure DevOps
  • API documentation with Swagger
  • Insurance and/or government domain experience

Desirable Technology experience:

  • Performance testing with Gatling or JMeter
  • Concepts such as Containerisation, REST API, API Security and Cloud concepts
